Ether translates to space. You'll arrive to our home away from home in the early afternoon and have the day to settle in, before our opening ceremony in the evening

Root to rise; we find grounding and safety through a slow Yin yoga practice in the morning, and an evening cacao ceremony for deep nourishment and an easeful dive into our emotions in a grounded, feminine way. The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy the pool, nature + local village.

Trauma healing gets to be fun; we get to laugh at ourselves in the process and celebrate how far we've come - it doesn't have to be so serious all the time, and that's what this retreat is all about. If this sounds like your vibe: Tanning by the pool all day with a book + new besties...Releasing heavy trauma in a powerful + intense breathwork session...Nourishing yourself with fresh pizza cooked in-house in our pizza oven..then you're one of us! Because we're away from normal life + together doing the work for 5 days, this container goes deeper than your usual Womens' Circle or therapy session. You'll go as deep as you feel safe to go, so it's suitable for those who have never done trauma healing (though expect to go on a ride!), as well as those who have been working on themselves for a number of years - all we ask is that you come ready to do the work. It's not for you if you don't think you have trauma - it's a place to come to heal your trauma - in weird and wonderful, fun and out of your comfort zone ways.

Airport transfers from Turin airport, most meals, accommodation, towels + use of the pool are included. Flights, optional massage and our final meal in a local restaurant aren't included. You'll need to bring Euros for a massage, any gelatos/coffees you'd like to buy from the local town and our final dinner in a local restaurant.

We provide 3 simple, nourishing and wholesome vegetarian meals per day cooked with locally sourced ingredients, inspired by Indian and Italian cuisine. The only meal that isn't included is the final dinner, at a local restaurant so we can really celebrate our journey. It will be hot! Average daytime highs of 26 degrees, average nights of 15 degrees.

This is an intimate retreat, with a maximum of 8 participants. You'll be supported by Rehmat AKA The Trauma Alchemist, Shammi our chef + all round hilarious human + their small team.

Villa Cadenza is a gorgeous converted farmhouse in the mountains of Piemonte. It's a home away from home - the interior is rustic with flagstone and marble flooring, and there are quiet spaces all around to sit, read and contemplate. The pool + poolside are a favourite, in addition to the two living rooms. Retreat guests stay over four bedrooms on the top floor: the two triple rooms have three single beds, and the two private rooms have king size beds. There are four bathrooms. Weather permitting, all sessions take place outside on the grassy area to the side of the property. Since we are in the countryside, there are occasionally bugs around.

We practice Hatha, Yin and Vinyasa yoga on retreat. All trauma alchemy sessions are somatic - there is breathwork, a cacao ceremony, an ayurvedic self love ceremony and a shamanic fire circle.

You'll need to arrive at Turin airport by 4pm on the 22nd August, and your outbound flight should leave Turin after 10am on the 26th. As of March, flights are around £100 return.

Comfortable clothes for yoga and trauma alchemy sessions, a swimsuit for the pool, sun cream, bug spray and one outfit that makes you feel really great, for the final dinner. No need to bring towels, we'll provide those.

We offer a shuttle service to and from Turin airport so you don't need a car. Of course if you'd like to hire a car and explore during your down-time, you're welcome to - just let us know in advance so we can keep a parking space for you.
